Could this be receiver's problem?

i'm getting this kind of blue background from time to time on my screen. it's more like come and go, really randomly.



i'm using PS3 and denon receiver now. when it happened, i tried connecting PS3 to TV and it works fine so i'm worried if it could have anything to do with my receiever.

Anybody has this kind of problem before? please advice

If your connected with hdmi it is something that happens from time to time and a reset usually fixes the problem. If not then try a new cable.

sorry for bringing this up again

after i changed a new cable, the problem went away; however, it happens again. now it's not on and off anymore. it's always blue like that. So i tried narrowing down the source and it's from the receiver. Connecting PS3 or cable TV directly is fine; only when connecting thru the receiever that i get the blue background. And changing the cables doesn't help. They connect thru HDMI btw.

Anybody know what's wrong with the receiver? Would it cost much to fix?
