Cop Punches Girl in the Face

In my defense, I was refering to the righteous fella that was running his mouth to the cop while filming them up close.

Could you imagine having both of those girls and that crap talking video recorder in the same room. That would be hell...I think you're right. Hopefully another cop would take care of him :)

Yeah, it appeared he was doing the lone ranger routine. Rest assured, had another officer been present the guy wouldn't have gotten anywhere near that close to them. You can see in the video that the officer is clearly bothered and feels cornered being that he is surrounded and has at least one civilian antagonizing him. I imagine he felt like a man with a 6 shooter surrounded by a group of zombies. He'd do anything he could to control the situation, but he's only one man.

News flash: Push a cop and he just might hit you, (if you're lucky). Duh....

Where was this girl's sign so they could tell that she wasn't very bright?
 
I guess I'll be the one person here who's against it. Sure the girl had it coming, but you just don't punch a girl in the face. I would rather the cop had tased or maced her.
 
I don't think that you are the only one against a cop hitting a girl, but if you push a cop, nothing good will come of it.

Easy to say in a one-to-one situation but he was being ganged up upon and hac to deal with that ASAP. There was no guarantee others weren't soon to follow.

A quick punch in the face gets the point across very quickly and effectively.

Besides, tasing is not always a solution without ramificatiions, as recent news stories will attest. ...and mace isn't guaranteed effective in stopping flailing fists.

Ultimately, you fluck with a cop, particularly physically, doing his job, be prepared to take what you get.

It's the ones that are "raising" that mouthy, selfish, little brat are the ones that need to be punched out, be it parent, parents or grandparents. Then they should have the kid taken away from them.

You can tell he's not the least bit remorseful about what he's done. If anything, he's quite proud of himself.

how many shots does a taser have? maybe he was saving it incase the friend and camera man got involved.

Oh hellz yeah. :)

On a personal note, I think cops should be better trained in self-defense. There were far better ways to take down that woman while still maintaining his perimeter defense, if he was properly trained.
