Hey lay off Krell;)
How else can you truly test the flame resistant properties of these speakers without using a beast amp?

EDIT: BTW-I haven't heard "multiplex demodulator" since the old Sound Advice commercials of the late 70's, earliy 80's.

Major are you losing your stripes?? Wasn't that from Marvin the Martian in the old Bugs Bunny cartoons. Now there's a name: Sound Advice, Tweeter bought them out, I got my Krells there, I was young and STUPID:D

The sad part is, when I was 14 I bought a radio shack 10 inch sub. Took the box it came in and taped it up just like that.
I thought I was the only one to come up with the duck tape box. It kind of works... kind of.

Did the same thing with a pair of Jensen 6x9's in my first car. Even taped them down to the carpet under the back window. For some reason the never stayed put. Go figure.

Actually, the dollar store around the corner sells "duck tape," in silver, green, or blue. It even has a little drawing of a duck on the label. It's pretty amazing tape, it doesn't really adhere too well, but it manages to leave a grease like film of sticky goo which is next to impossible to clean off yet gets all over everything.

Well I bet the Type 1 is better than a Bose Lifestyle system at least.
