Hello there! What should be done with protected media bought online? I've bought a new iPod and can't transfer music there ((( Any suggestions?

Where did you buy the files? Chances are they are in WMA (Windows Media Audio) protected format since 90% of the download services use that format. The problem is that the Ipod does not support this format.

It is not technically legal to strip the protection and convert the file format. WMA protection has not been cracked as far as I know.
