For the Control 1 and 2, 12V 15mA outputs; how do you use these?

The company that installed my system is using one to turn on the motor to speakers I have in the ceiling - turn on and they roll-down to face the listener. But I'm not sure how this electrical connection works. The motors for the speakers are powered by 12 V transformers and I think the Control Out signal enables the transformers but this is the part I do not understand.

I want to connect the other control out to two cabinet cooling fans that are powered by individual 12V transformers but unsure how this connection should be accomplished. Do I need a relay or some other additional device?

Thanks

Jay

It's simply a remote on/off switch. I sends a small current to another device to activate it. The recievering device needs to have a 12V input connection.

Thanks for that but consider the following: I will have a 120V input / 12v output transformer plugged into a wall outlet. I only want this transformer to actually receive the 120v input when the receiver is turned on. Are you suggesting there is a device that can plug between the wall outlet and the transformer that will switch on when it receives the 12v contol signal? If so, what is this device called?

Thanks
