That "surprise" gambit only flies if others give a hoot about something. You've pretty much worn that out here.

Not very well. You couldve ended this ordeal a long time ago by taking TLS up on his offer. If it's good enough for Dr. Mark, it's probably a high quality piece of equipment.

It is hard to know how you've done until you win the auction, receive the unit, hook it up, and evaluate the condition/operation of the unit.

Having lost one auction and having a bid in on another doesn't offer much to evaluate.

Just another 5 hours to go! How did I do in General if were comparing this to an SH-8020?
Any notable differences between the two besides the display Screen Spectrum Analizer? MSRP?
Actually I lost 3 auctions Onkyo EQ-35,Sansui SE-8,Reference By Quadraflex 210 EQ. I lost the Quadraflex EQ on purpose didn't put in enough money to be the high bidder and sat right at the computer watching the auction come to a close!

You obviously don't understand the grueling & exhaustive process, when one bids on TOTL electronics....

It's NOT TOTL but Stereo Forum Audiokarma has said the 8055 to be a good quality EQ made by Technics It can't truely be considered TOTL unless used in Professional Recording Studios! But the rest of the EQ's I looked at were average at best or Bottom Of The Barrel Equalizers This Technics was the only one that at least looked decent. Most of the Fishers were below average.

The bid at 52 minutes before closing is $34, or $44 when shipping is included. That’s beyond your budget? I think I understand why you keep getting beat out of so many auctions...

If that's you budget, I'd say go with an ADC or BSR. I had a BSR for many years and had absolutely no complaints.

He has an ADC sound shaper 2 for free, he just has to pay shipping.

As a former colleague of mine, a delightful Russian Dr Alex Levitov, said in a fairly think accent: "Testosterone is neurotoxin!" Said at a time his teenage son was vexing him greatly.
