THE FINAL DECISION HAS BEEN MADE JVC 10 Band Silver Face EQ Refurb or Dads Technics.

Okay guys I really need your advice saw a nice JVC but is it better to have separate faders for each channel or combined?

I'm pretty sure if you bought the 210 Eq it is identical to the one I was going to give you, just rebranded and very minor cosmetic changes.

Not to sound harsh, but do you have any clue what you're doing? TLS Guy offered you a great EQ for free and you passed it up. What are you trying to accomplish. I hope your not using an 8 track as your source on this mission. I am getting a little confused about this whole thing.

I plan to use a TEAC PD-80 Single Disc CD Player Maybe an Kenwood Cassette Deck. The 8 track player doesn't work too good right now! I have always wanted Quadraflex Pro Sound Equipment!

Do you know 'Audio Control'? They specialized in EQs years ago. I had one back in the mid 80s. It was a great piece. I'm not sure they're still around, but it's worth a look.

I have only just heard about them NOT to Familiar with them. I did look at quite a few though I have to say there nice looking but I already just bought an EQ my FIRST ONE EVER!

I didn't understand why you didn't take TLS guy's offer!
I assumed you were holding out for a silver face, so was pretty surprised that it looks like you got a black EQ.

All the Silver face ones were too much I wanted an easy way to pay for the EQ. Found a silver face JVC but didn't care for the combined Sliders wanted separate ones for each channel. I thought some of the Quadraflex stuff was pretty exspensive anyways! And I always wanted some for a while now.

Well, considering TLS Guy's earlier post and if you look at it and study the picture of TLS Guy's EQ. It appears that it can be exactly compared to his ADC. One has toggles, the other, buttons (and rack handles), but all switches are in the same location.

Next time, accept TLS Guy's offer and apply the money saved towards speakers!

My speakers sound fine to me money is super tight right now always have my HH Scott SP-4000 Speakers in the garage if I need them! Both of EQ's are very HighEnd though! The Quadraflex EQ will kick butt with AC/DC and METALLICA! KEW Was my EQ exspensive when NEW? It appears that the 210 was the only EQ ever produced by QUADRAFLEX?

Sorry, but I don't recognize the Quadraflex name (which doesn't mean too much - I wasn't into EQ's).

Things are not making much sense.
You ask for help, starting a new thread about buying an EQ. You get offered a free EQ with assurances that it was in good condition. Instead, you buy different EQ, and then you say money is tight. Typically, when money is tight, it means you are trying to reduce costs.

It is pretty ironic that you ended up paying for essentially the same EQ you could have gotten for free.

Sorry - I am glad that you are enjoying your new EQ, but if money is tight, it seems pretty prudent to not spend it unless you have to!
