No, but I don't hear anyone IN politics talking about that, either. It's basically telling a fire to stop burning. I'm absolutely convinced that the MSM and social media have played a huge part and I'm not aiming that at either political side, people are far less civil than they were in the past. Instant news doesn't help- when bad things happen and it hits immediately, someone will react in a bad way- delays have a way of softening the blow and filtering the dialogue, IMO. Used to be that when someone entered a garage, people were shocked and now, the news shows people being blown to bits in real time, with just a warning that "What you see next may be difficult for some people". No shyte! Once people become desensitized, it's easier to watch and the outrage becomes harder to feel. Now, YouTube has channels with people being shot, some without any concealment of the damage to the person.
We need to get the news, but if it causes people to react violently, I'm not sure that showing it live is needed unless it's good news or, at least, not terrible. Not trying to be a weenie, but I'm tired of seeing this crap.
