Connecting Turntable to Phono Stage/preamp

I tried to post a pic of the catlog but I was unable to.

I see some good reviews on the Black Ortofon TLC Guy. I will give it a try. Thanks again for the advice.

@fmw the Stanton 150 was moded at Mapleshade it doesn't metion anything about a phono stage. I will have to call them to see.
If it does have a phono stage will I still need or benefit from a phono pre amp?

My love of music is greater than my technical knowledge but Im learning....

Another thought....I just received an email from Cary that they can upgrade the preamp to the P version for 500 bucks.

Worth it? Or would the Pro-Ject be a better bet?

If they can do that, then you should take that option. It is the best most elegant solution. It will have the best signal to noise, as likely they will not have to add a tube, just have switchable gain and an EQ circuit.

That was my thought too. Also, they said they would need to add tubes included in the price.

Just an FYI...I found out the reason why Mapleshade dosen't have the Stanton on their website is because they are currently backordered and will be back up in another week or so.
