Don't know if your model tv has it or not, but I just used a plain old computer vga to vga connector to hook my laptop to my Tv. Check your tv's inputs or post the actual model number so we can see if you have a computer input on it.

I'll see about getting the actual model number. it's on the tv mount on the wall so it will be complicated, LOL.... I'll see what I can do.

I use the VGA output from my laptop and the TV happens to have a VGA input. If your doesn't, you can get an adapter to go from VGA to component video.

For audio, your laptop has a digital audio output (SPDIF). It probably uses a digital coax type connection w/ RCA connectors on each end. Any modern receiver will included this type of input, but you might have to use analog audio (red/white RCA connections) to connect directly to the TV speakers.

Check out monoprice for inexpensive cables.

Will I loose the High Definition no matter what?
