connecting 2 subs?

maybe some1 can help me pls...

i was just wondering if it is good to connect a second sub via using a jack plug behind the recevier, would it harm the receiver? (since there is only one connection for a sub).

.....Mc Emcy, take that signal from the sub-out with an rca pin-jack, and Y it to two subs....or more if you see fit....no way to harm the receiver.....
