Confused about connections

I recently bought a Klipsch 10" sub and a Yamaha RX-563 receiver. On the receiver it only has a single plug to output to the sub, but on the sub I see two RCA inputs one for left and one for right, and I also see red and black speaker connectors 2 labeled high level in and 2 labeled high level out. It doesn't explain anything in my manuals. I'm sure this is a basic question, but I'm new to this stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

or you can just use a one of the 2 inputs(l or R) and skip the y adapter;)

That is not recommended unles the subwoofer manufacturer specifically states it can be done. Using a y-adaptor is the best bet if nothing is printed on the rear of the subwoofer or in the manual.

You can (for the time being, [their pretty cheaply made]) go to Walmart or Radio Shack to pickup this Y-adapter.
