<font color='#000000'>Hello.

I just read your article on Component Video Cables - The Difinitive Guide and found it very informative for a person such as myself that barely knows anything about cables.

I just recently bought a projection tv (HD ready Panasonic CT-47WX52) and a progressive scan DVD player (Panasonic DVD-RP62) and am wondering what it the best component cable to use without having to pay an arm and a leg. Under the recommendation of the salesman that sold me the system he also suggested that I purchase a component video cable manufactured by Ultralink (model CCV-2M; 2 meters long). Unfortunately, my cabinet that will house the DVD player will require a cable that is about 4 meters long to connect to the tv.

My question is: Is this a good quality cable and will there be picture quality degradation by using a 4 meter lentgh cable rather than a 2 meter length.

Your advise will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Michael Raptis
