Complicated hook-up HELP!

OK so I've been trying to figure this out for months! I need help!! so I have a bunch of sources like a blu ray player, game consoles and DVD player all digitally hooked up to a digital AV switch (with Toslink optical cable)
The switch outputs to an optical cable, into my PC's Auzentech Xfi-Prelude and my 7.1 surround sound PC speakers play the sound....
problems though .... all I ever get is Pro-Logic and stereo upmix, even when the blu-ray player wants to output DTS I can't use it. I want to know if the Switch (Joytech JS965C AV swich) supports DTS or AC3 Pass-through? and if my Auzentech Xfi-Prelude can input DTS and 5.1? or if I can just get some sort of external decoder and hook it up to my speakers directly and get DTS decoding that way??
HELLLLP!!

Can you list how you have the output settings in each component?

well even if I set an Xbox or PS3 for example to output 5.1 Dolby or DTS Surround or AC3 nothing will work, so I can only use Stereo or Surround settings.
