Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this is Comcast specific or what, but most shows on ABC don't have any sound through the surround speakers, but instead they will randomly "crackel" is the best way to put it. Anyone else experience this problem?

Thanks

I've had that problem on certain channels before I had a digital box. In particular on Fox and strangely enough most prevalently with The Simpsons. Switching to stereo made it go away, but I never got an adequate explanation when I called for help.

I'm a Comcast user and have not experienced this phenomenon. Sorry no help:eek:

What type of connection are you using?

might I ask if you are using a digital box and if its the SD or HD feed?

It's on HD feed, and I am using a digital box. I have HDMI going from the cable box to my receiver, and then HDMI to the TV from the receiver. ALL other channels work fine, it's only ABC giving the issue.

The funny thing is too, that even before I had the 5.1 surround setup, the channel would crackel here and there through the TV speakers. Now, it only does it through the rear surrounds. Seems like maybe a broadcast issue specific to ABC?
