It seems my Comcast DVR suddenly just stopped outputting HDMI video. Here are the symptoms:
HDMI output:
Video screen is blue
Sound is fine.
DVR menu screen is fine except PIP video image, which is blue.
In summary, I get all DVR menus and sound just fine, but no picture. I can scroll up and down DVR channels, and get appropriate sound from each channel.
Hooking up the same HDMI cable to a DVD HDMI output - everything is fine.
DVR composite video output and fiber-optic sound are also fine.
I'm wondering if there's some software switch we toggled by accident (to disavle video via HDMI), or is this a hardware failure of the DVR HDMI driver. I can't find anything in the manual about disabling just the HDMI video output.
