Hi fellas,

Looking for the best receiver and cd player I can get for under $350 (total).

Both will be used exclusively for music listening - and will power 4 separate nice quality speakers and a sub. Just need a single disc player (and do not need DVD functionality). In my limited research so far, this is in the lead...

I'd probably go with something like this for the player:

Pretty inexpensive and it will do SACD. With digital connections, it doesn't matter if your player is $50 or $500.

I'm pretty sure you can find an Onkyo receiver in silver.

I prefer Onkyo Amps myself.
