Whilst looking for a 5.0 speaker system, I went to BB and auditioned the Klipsch Qunitet SL. I was able to spend 30 minutes (w/ my CD) switching between Mirage, Definitive,Martin Logan(beautiful but not an option) and Klipsch...no sub involved at my request cause I already have a great Velo. I listened to a compile of Santana, Paco de Lucia,Led Zep and LOTR soundtrack. I gotta say that apples for apples I hated the Mirages, Def Tech was warm but not to my liking. I always (thought)I hated on the horns (in my mind) that Klipsch uses, but they were far better for my ear than the others. I have to say that I will be purchasing the Klipsch Quintet SL (with any luck also get a free second sub). The only draw back is what to do to complete a 7.1??? Perhaps a Klipsch di/bi pole next year??? I am a 80-90% movie guy. I cannot wait to hear a full on THX movie on these boxes! I am currently looking for a live DVD or SACD of Ottmar Leibert!
