Coaxial, Optical, Componenent, S-video....huh?

<font color='#000000'>What do I need to set-up my surround system and T.V./video games. &nbsp;Which cables...all of them one of them...do I need componenent and optical...coaxial and optical...i'm a little lost on what i need for the best and complete performance... Anyone want to help I would be very happy...</font>

<font color='#0000FF'>This is a contentious issue but having experimented with both optical and coaxial, I find the sound much better in coaxial cables. For video you need S video or components depending on your DVD and TV. The components give better results due to seperation of the color component signal.</font>
