Cleaning components?

I keep looking at the local big box buy anything store, and can't find a "fox tail" type duster that I approve of . Most of them are cheap, and loose fibers/feathers with a gentle rub. I don't want these fibers/feathers in my equipment. And others are too stiff, which leads me to believe they would put little scratches on my gear.

At the moment, I use a hand vac to get the dust, then I use Pledge grab-it's to get what's left. Works pretty good, but I need something to get in between my components and the shelves.

I would prefer something off the net. Any ideas?

I just use 100% cotton cloths for wipe down. Will not scratch, and that's what I use for the car as well to prevent scratches/swirl marks in the paint. The plastic displays are the only thing to worry about really, but they make polish (car) to maintain those if you should get scratches.

I haven't found anything that I like to get between gear either, but you might look at some paint brushes or something similar. Maybe a small computer vacuum?

Cool man, I think I'm going to order one!! I've seen something similar, but not with soft hair like this one.

Actually, I was thinking just a plastic coat hangar with a Pledge grab-it or swifer thingy stuck onto it too. I need something that can get under my receiver and this guy looks like it will do it :)

I use the same type duster as that one but picked it up at Lowes. It looks just like that one cept its got a wooden handle and white feathers but they are not feathers. The one i have is like 2ft long and gets in the tightest places.

Does it shed?

Do you remember what you paid for it?
