Lol. I was waiting for my brother in an appointment, so I popped in my Chris Botti live in Boston dvd into my macbook pro, and it immediately crashed, and somehow killed my hard drive. Thanks Chris! :D

I have it, just played it on my macbook. No issues. Sounds like you had a bad hard drive itself. It happens even to macs. Sorry to disappoint all you mac haters.:p

Lol, I know it wasnt the disc, but i guess it just pushed it over the edge. I wasn't having issues before it.

That really sucks though. I hope you backed up your important stuff. I lost a hd a while back, luckily I had it all backed up, but it still sucks.

You mean you kept it in the time machine right? :) :)

In the time machine? Yes I use time machine for my backups to an external HD. Restore took me about 45min start to finish including putting in the new drive. Gotta love macs for stuff like that:) Time machine is an elegant back up solution.

So much for wishful thinking. I thought I might have had a guaranteed Mac destroyer to distribute. *sigh*
Sorry to ruin your day! I have a thumb drive with a virus that will destroy most of the data on your PC. Would you like me to send it to you so you can load it up? It doesn't work on a mac:p

I had most of my pictures and videos backed up, and I was able to get important documents off when I was at the apple store. I still have my old hard drive, so I can keep trying to get stuff off. I just bought a dual 500gb raid mirroring external hard drive for future use :D

Are you also describing 85% of the legitimate software in existence? Ya know what, yeah, you actually are.
85% of windows software is crap anyways haha :D

I'd rather not start this into a windows vs mac argument. They can get more heated than politics

Just buy it. You won't regret it.
I saw one if his concerts on I think Palladia or some channel a long time ago and was very impressed... I just purchased a used copy of this blu ray on amazon. Can't wait to hear it in all it's 96khz/24 bit 7.1 TrueHD glory.

How quickly you forget....I was making a subtle reference to our previous Mac VS PC forum war.

Just pulling your chain.
