All choices look good.... I love my Omnisats
Ariel,
It looks like you have done a good bit of research, and have picked some very good choices.
As stated I have 4 Mirage Omnisats, and a Mirage Omni CC. I can tell you that I have had them for 3 and a half months and am still awe-struck by their performance.
I replaced a Kenwood Home Theater in a Box (HTiB) system, with a new Yamaha receiver (RX-V2500)
and these speakers along with a Velodyne DLS-3750R sub. The difference was astounding. The Omnisats have an unbelievable sound. For music and movies. I use mine probably 50/50 TV, movies/ Music. On the days I work from home I leave my digital cable box on the smooth jazz channel or whatever I am in the mood to listen to and catch myself appreciating the sound that comes out of these speakers often.
Bear in mind that these or any smaller speaker system you decide on will need a sub woofer to really get the most sound. Any of these smaller speakers will not produce the lower frequencies.
As I am sure you have read, the best thing you could do is go and audition as many of these speakers as you can. As your ears may find affinity for different speakers than me or anyone else.
If you are looking for incredible "Room filling" sound in a small package then you can not go wrong with the Omnisats, that I assure you of. Couple that with the fact that they will be much less expensive than some of the other brand names you are looking at, and they may become even more attractive.
Hope this helps you out. I would think you will get some more input, and most of these folks here are VERY helpful. So see what they have to say as well. Good luck and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
