I quite enjoy Love Actually as a Christmas movie- it's a nice feel-good movie to watch around the holidays... plus you get to see Laura Linney's breasts :D

OK, since I started this, I'll go. The Kids are All Right....one of those times when my wife and I arrived too late for the movie we intended and took the next one on the schedule. This is a special chick flick because the chicks are lesbians, but they are chicks and there is a lot of verbage about relationships so I guess it qualifies.

A long term couple have two teen kids (one of each gender) via the same sperm donor and the boy looks up his donor and contacts him. In the tradition of chick flicks, there is lots of emotional stewing and everybody learns something. I have to admit that it was pretty good. The script was witty and I liked the characters, so there.

I really just don't like Hugh Grant that much. The only one that I thought he was decent in was Bridget Jones Diary.

I've always thought that, as an actor, Hugh Grant mainly plays Hugh Grant. Nevertheless, part of me has always wanted to be able to have such a high-toned British accent, be able to sit around sipping booze a lot but never get drunk or hungover and to have that great head of hair. Anybody remember him early in his career when he had a part in the Ken Russell horror movie, "Lair of the White Worm"?

I liked confessions of a shopaholic, lol.

I think in a way i can kind of relate to the main character, just somewhat.

I recently caught myself watching "The Good Girl" with Jennifer Aniston on Oxygen when I wasn't at home. The longer I watched, the more interesting it became because it was just strange. I liked the movie for the most part.

On the contrary...at least some of us are males with significant female partners and we have to negociate movie titles. How many Rom-Coms does it take to equal a war movie? I'd be willing to be that there's probably not a single monkeyf**er in the building.
