Baby birds are usually rather ugly when they hatch compared to other critters like bunnies and kittens. Then they grow up and because awesome hunters. Years back at an old house, we had a red-tail hawk family nest in some trees at the edge of the property. It was fun sitting on the deck watching the parents teach the young to hunt.

I don't know - I think chick peeps are cuter than grown up chickens. :)

They've got Cam 1 zoomed out today because apparently when it's super windy, the camera loses its network connectivity when it's zoomed in. They'll zoom back in when the wind calms down.

Also, the egg in the Johnson City nest is probably no longer viable and will not hatch. Moment of silence....
