Welcome to the red-headed step-child club. No standards apply here.
This would be a response to both posts on this subject.
I don't know for a fact, but from looking at the plugs on some Ipods, a quock glance at Sansa stuff in the stores, and my Zune stuff, I doubt any standard applys.
Face it, Ipods rule the roost in this market. Much like IBM and MS/DOS came in in the early 80's and became the defacto stanard for microcomputers from then on, Ipods did the same to personal portable audio.
And, I feel for ya. We've got some "thumb" style Sansa units and two Zune units my wife bought for Xmas one year. Finding aftermarket accessories for either is difficult, if not impossible.
Fortunatly the "thumb" series are fairly primitive devices which use AAA batteries, a USB input, and 1/8" stereo mini-plug output, these are not too much of an issue. I use a cable from the headpone jack to amos and I actually prefer changing AAA bateries when needed. No wait for charging and they can be bought anywhere.
As for the Zune, I picked up a couple of basic Audiio/video/charging docks and left it at that. As for more elegant amp/speaker/dock combos, I never found too much but at least I can connect 'em to a TV via component video and get a nice line-level signal to any audio system I choose.
Mu suggestion: look
here carefully (items may not be ALL for Fuzes) and do the best you can. Either that, or contact Sansa directly to see what they themselves offer. Actually, I don't see ANYTHING like you request, much less a good sounding one. ...nor do I even see a dock.
Good luck.
