What would happen if I was to replace my 4ohm speakers with 8 ohm speakers? will it affect the sound or what?

You mean change drivers from 4 Ohm to 8 Ohm or actually switch 4 Ohm speakers for ones that are 8 Ohm? If you mean swapping one speaker for another, it depends on the speakers in question. If you had ones that were similar sensitivity, then the 8 ohm speakers will draw less power to achieve the same SPL in the same room.

Changing the drivers isn't a likely since it will likely also require a change to the speaker's crossover design.

Since all speaker ssound different, the sound will definitely be changed.

As for the speakers themselves, you can't change a 4 ohm speaker to an 8 ohm speaker. That's like changing a 4 cylinder engine to an 8 cylinder engine. You can replace them, but you can't change them.
