compare the cost of buying from the closest Best Buy, and the cost of buying online plus the shipping costs.

i bought Infinity P162's from B&H Photo Video online and it added 90 bucks to ship, but it was on my doorstep in 2 days from New York to Edmonton. My sub on the other hand was on sale and i could get for the same price as in the States and i saved the shipping costs.
Hey,

Sorry, was that the 162's or 362's?

Go Oilers Go.

i bought 162's even though you are looking at 362's. the cost of shipping still made my 162's worth buying from the states, but the sub i bought was not worth buying online.

most sites will give you a shipping cost before you confirm the order, so maybe the cost of shipping the 362's is still worth it compared to driving to the nearest best buy and paying the higher cost here in Canada. then again it might not be worth it. :D

you could also keep an eye on your local Kijiji for a used pair.

one final question

Hi Guys,

one final question/seek for advice and then I will let you get on with more important things.

I travelled to the nearest big city, spent 1/2 hr or more in 2 stores, listening to speakers in my price range.

The BB had the Infinity 362's running, but with just radio for the source, busy floor, no dedicated listening room, speakers only 2 feet apart. Not really impressed.

Went to an Audiophile shop, went up into one of their booths, and listened to a Mission M33i setup. Little more money but was impressed with the sound.

Does anyone have any comparison between both models as far as personal experience or what not?

Thanks

Mike
