The CEO is the ultimate boss for day to day running of the company the BUCK Stops with him. Anything else is a cop out. CEO also makes and or blesses all the policies of the company specially when it impacts share prices.

It is only in the Westerns (movies) someone faces the opponent - in real life it is not. Do snipers face their opponent? Drones?

Good post! CEO is to make sure, best return. CEO will at all cost protect his/her salary first, alone with shareholders profit. Those kinds, will lol even after taking 3 bucks from a sickly dying person. Doesn't need the 3 bucks it is what shills do. Rich have been screwing over the poor always have always will.

I totally agree. FWIW the UHC philosophy is to drive down the cost of healthcare aggressively. I don’t mind that goal, but I wish they were more reasonable about it.

Disagree. UHCs and all other Health insurance company philosophy is to maximize premiums (using excuses like per-existing condition) and drive down patient payouts NOT cost of healthcare. This to maximize share prices.
Everyone everyone is born with or with predisposition for some medical condition that develops later in life. There is no living thing in this universe without a per-existing condition
