Center to go with Totem Mite

Well, I've had my Mites for some time and love them to death. I plan on later on getting larger speakers and turning the Mites into the surround speakers, but I'd like to get a center channel for now.

Am I better off getting a Totem Center or something else?

Generally speaking, your best option is going to be to stick with Totem, and specifically get the center that matches the Mites, the Mite-T Center.

However, if you know which speakers you intend to purhase for use up front after you move the Mites to the rear, it may make more sense to buy the accompanying center for those. But again, that would assume you know which you plan to buy for your fronts, which you may not have determined yet. Going this route would allow you to avoid having to get another matching center down the road in addition to the one you get for the Mites now.

I figured..I plan on getting the Mite-T for front and moving the Mites to the rear..so i guess i'll end up with the Mite-T center.

Good choice! That's what I'm using!

Here's my speaker setup:

Totem Sttaf - Fronts
Totem Mite-T - Centre Channel
Totem Mite - Rears

Depending on finish and the deal you can cut with your audio dealer...the Mite-T has a start price of $595 CDN

The Totem Sttaf's have a starting price of $1,795 CDN

I have the Mahogany finish in mine and I love them.
