I just installed my first HT system and thought everything was going great until I started hearing a weird spike in my center speaker. It is hard to explain. It sounds almost as if it is reaching its max volume and caps out.

I have an Onkyo HT-S6300 system with the HTP-680 speaker package. All my speakers are set to the 60 Hz.

When I call Onkyo they tell me that I should try a different Blue ray player.

I was hoping that maybe I needed to switch my Hz to something different.

Any suggestions?

Crap craps out. Seriously though, you need to turn it down and set the crossover at 100 Hz. You can't expect much from a system like that.
