Looking for help from people who know about XBOX and trouble shooting. I just got Halo 2 and for some reason no sound is coming from the center speaker. My reciever says it is recieving a Dolby Digital signal, and the settings in the XBOX dashbord are set to accept DD. I have never had this problem before with other games just this one.

Checked the center speaker with DVD's and it works fine.

any thoughts? is it possible the sound track on the game is faulty?

Anything on the options/settings menu of the game that needs to be adjusted? Sorry, I'm not that familiar with the X-Box, but most games should have this option menu.

Thanks for the reply....yea I checked all the options...and no nothing...the wierd thing is the center channel kicks in when there is video to watch durring the game, but as soon as the sound effects start when you actually play it goes mute.

hmm... maybe that's just how the game is encoded, intentional or not. Maybe you could send an email to the game developer or publisher to confirm.
