Center Channel Match for Paradigm Monitor 9's

Hi -

I've been reading the forum for a while, but just now registered so I could post. This is a cool place!

I've been speaker shopping for a while, and I think I'm about to pick up some Paradigm Monitor 7's or 9's. The thing is, all of the center channels in the monitor series seem to be too big for my setting (i.e. the wife :p). I'm considering maybe the 9's with a center channel from the Cinema series. Would this be a horrible match? Are there other options (new or used) in the Paradigm arsenal that I'm missing?

I need to stay at or below 6"H x 21.5"W.

I'm probably not as picky as some about the center matching the fronts. But I don't want something ridiculous either. I REALLY like the 9's for music. Any advice is appreciated...

Rephrasing the Question..

Let me bump this up by asking a different question:

Would it be better to use an Atom or Mini as a center, rather than a center from the Cinema series?

I would not recommend using a mini or an atom for a center. I have the 290 and when I bought it, I thought it was big. But when I put it in my system iti seemed to fit nicely. I do think you would need a bigger center than the 290 though with those 9's.
