Ceiling mounting psb 2b's

I have some psb 2b's which I want to mount to the ceiling.I have an 8ft ceiling and wanted to mount them sidways,or on their side.I'm using these as rear surrounds in a 5.1 set-up.(1)Will this effect sound?(2)should I arrange the speakers with tweaters facing in twards eachother or outwards twards the side walls.

Can someone at least point me to a thread on laying speakers sideways?I've searched this forum and nothing.

It's rarely or never recommended. I would ask PSB directly, to be sure. Then, other things can make it more vertical oriented than not by having specifically designed wave guides or lenses or something.

Keep em vertical if you can.

Too late,I went ahead and did it any ways.I'd have to re-run wire to get them mounted on the side walls.When I ran my wires I forgot to calculate for slack and future placement.So here is the end product.
