Want to see what a Belgium made CD player from 1986 looks like taken apart?

Looks something like this:





That thing was DIRTY. Now... I just have to figure out why the display isn't working. I'm thinking it might be a cap or cold solder joint somewhere, as you turn the power off to the unit, you see the indicators and the segment display light up fully for half a second or so. When it's normally on, the indicator LED's are barely visible (without the faceplate) and the segment display is illegible.

Well... seems to be a common thing with 460's and 560's either way. I think that I'm going to reflow the resistor right below the segment display as it looks a bit shoddy.
