Hi all, I'm new to this site and am hoping for some input. I'm looking to replace my old al Audio Labs Alpha - Delta cd - dac combo. I'm open to any advice but I do have the opportunity to get one of the 3 following players used.
1. Marantz SA14 my brothers boss is ready to sell due to upgrading to a Levinson only system.
2. Meridian G-07 from a reputable dealer via another audio site.
3. Cary CDP-1 same situation as above.
I listen to classic hard rock, blues and jazz. The rest of my gear is as follows.
Aragon 8008bb power amp
Musical Fidelity A3cr pre-amp
PS Audio P-300 power plant
Mirage M-5si speakers
All interconnects are Signal Cable
Power cords are Ps Audio for power plant and power amp, Signal again for the Cal pieces and the pre amp. Speaker cable (bi wired) is basic Audioquest. I can't audition any of the above due to style of purchase. Any one with direct experience or other knowledge of the above 3 or any or suggestions you might have would be appreciated. Thanks.
