cd Player question?

Hi, I have a CD player CEC belt drive. I notice some CD it will play and some CD it does not, it says do dis. Any one know what is wrong with it?

Is it having trouble playing store-bought CD's ? Many older CD players were not designed to read computer-recorded CD's.

Yes, the trouble with computer copy cd only. I think I read accross these problem some where in here before, and some one give an advice that replace the lazer. If we change the lazer? is it going to work? or what else, and where do we buy those lazer?, is it any lazer will work or have to be exact brand made. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if you can change a laser... Anyway, you can probably pick up a new player from Walmart or Best Buy that is designed to read computer-copies for fifty or sixty dollars, which is less than a service guy would charge you just to open up the unit you have, let alone do any actual work.

Just check the new unit's specifications to be sure it reads computer-made disks.

Thanks for your advice, but the one sale for 50 or 60 don't have balanced out put, and it is not that high quality as the other (clear and strong signal). Thanks again, any other though?
