OK, so Christmas turned out to be more of a headache than normal. I finally received my Yamaha MCR-e600 mini system (im telling you, best bang for the buck) and its already acting up!
Here is the problem: Every disc (new or used) and dvd (new or used) put into the player causes the machine to click. This clicking/whirring is not through the speakers but actually inside the tray of the player. It sounds as if the laser/tracking is off and cant focus, but I cant be sure. It is loud enough to cause a disturbance in music at low levels and there is nothing that can be done to quiet it.
Does anyone have any idea what this is and if I need it to be worked on ALREADY? I cant stand the clicking - it drives me nuts!
