Well I had basically made my mind up on the behringer a500 amps for my highs as at the bang for a buck they have is very very impressive.

But under recent circumstances I can get BNIB fully authorized carver zr amps for far under any net pricing so I am looking at them heavily now as I have read many reviews saying they are the best amps any one has heard at any price point. And since I run all Phoenix Gold MS amps in my car and LOVE them and they are far better then any other amps I have ever owned which have been a few, same company, same engineers ect:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Still at their very low cost they are still quite a bit more then the behringer units at the same power range, and since I don't have much experience with home audio equipment where do jw where carver zr stand compared to behringer a500? (normally i woudln't even think they were on the same level because in audio you pay for what you get, but I have heard behrigner runs their company on the idea that selling a lot great product at a low cost is better then how ever one else does it selling a little of a great product at a higer cost).

So any input woudl be great...

You don't always pay for what you get. If you pay $2000 for a Bose Acoustimas system, you didn't get your money's worth.:D

I am unfamilier with the Carver amp you are refering to, is it a PA amplifier?

PA-Public Address. They are also called commercial amplifiers. They will have rack handles and look kind of ugly.

What do you mean by this? Are you multi amping a home system?

Tell us about this amp. Price, performance, specs.

Oh, then it is a more expensive amp? Then, you better stick with the A500.

because in audio you pay for what you get,

Now how is audio exempt from reality? No, you don't always get what you pay for. You think a SET amp(an old fashioned triode tube amp) costing $14,000 gives you what you payed for?
