Nothing against the BA or Impala, but there's so many I usually look for something different. Though can't go wrong with the cats eyes Impala.

with regards to the '57 I described I guarantee you have seen but a few, most likely NONE !

That was fun. Drove to the outskirts of the cities on my scooter and ended up on the highway lol.

19 miles to get there lol. 1.5 hours round trip. I went through downtown and to a street that eventually hits 55mph. Kind of farm country but mostly houses and land. Your not really suppose to rev the scooter like I did lol. Now I know to stay under that. Think I did about 40 back on the shoulder till I hit the city.

Also if you brake suddenly at high rev it kills the engine, which is why I coast to intersection. Not a real good idea to beat the poop outta of it. It isn't a motorcycle lol.

Had I to do it again I would have just bought a cycle. A scooter isn't even worth the cost above 150cc cause now your talking 2-3K maybe and much less power. Certainly more power than my 150cc but just isn't worth it.

There were tons of Bel Air's at the car show. It's the most of any vehicle. Then probably the Impala, though I only saw a few "eye brows." I tend to look at something else because there's so many of them. Though I'm not trying to knock the Bel Air.

Any recs on engine size for a motorcycle? I'm leaning toward something that isn't really big with a lot of storage. Edit: Google is saying 600+ cc and a bigger bike to handle wind from a semi etc.

Live and learn. Overtightened a bolt while working on the scooter belt. Now I can't get it off! So it's probably going to the shop. Amazing what you can learn when you watch videos. For some reason I misplaced a part and though uh oh how the hell did I get that there? Probably thought it was a socket and set it aside. Watched a video and by accident and discovered where it goes. Funny how mechanics work. There's a Y-shaped tool you use on a scooter to hold the spinner in place while you tighten the bolt. Probably only use it for that, but when you need it you sure are glad you have it.

Always loved those side vent windows on the '80s trucks. Pure nostalgia. Seemed to have the right height on the air flow w/o opening the window. Plus that big chrome metal lock to shut it.

Almost another spaghetti junction massacre lol. Thought that was strange the car ahead of me ripped into the left lane? Cause the car in front of him was doing a sharp two lanes to the right to reach the off ramp. Than they had to stop in order to fit around the barrier. I swear someone is going to get killed. Its just bizarre cause its never occurred to me to dart across if I missed my exit.
