If you have a lot of small, furry critters in your area, find a way to protect the wiring harness- my friend has a Genesis and Squirrels chewed the crap out of the harness and some other parts- apparently, the insulation and some plastic is Soy-based. The repair cost his insurance company more than $5K.Ordered a Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige. It has a 16 speaker Lexicon sound system with a total of 1050 watts. Jimi Hendrix All Along the Watchtower came on the radio during the test drive. I May of exceeded the speed limit and almost drove all the way to New York.

Last year, a rodent chewed through the rear window washer spray nozzle hose on our 2017 Nissan Rogue. Was able to access it and insert a piece of tubing with joiners. If you have a lot of small, furry critters in your area, find a way to protect the wiring harness- my friend has a Genesis and Squirrels chewed the crap out of the harness and some other parts- apparently, the insulation and some plastic is Soy-based. Rodents chew on harnesses, it's what they do. But making the insulation from a food source is ridiculous.Last year, a rodent chewed through the rear window washer spray nozzle hose on our 2017 Nissan Rogue. Was able to access it and insert a piece of tubing with joiners.
But it's very diverse and inclusive...well, except for the lack of people who USED TO be their target customers. You guys seen the new jaguar ad? Omg…..
Not even ONE CAR in it.

They've chewed through a number of harnesses on our Civic over the years. Now there's a big mouse/rat bait trap right by the driveway.
Their old market wised up and now drive Lexus vehicles. Time to try and fool a new market. But it's very diverse and inclusive...well, except for the lack of people who USED TO be their target customers.
The former customers were targeted because THEY HAD THE MONEY TO PAY FOR JAGUAR CARS!.
Marketing geniuses, I tells ya! Must have had a pretty interesting focus group.
I suppose you're going to say they want reliability, now. Pffft!Their old market wised up and now drive Lexus vehicles. Time to try and fool a new market.
Had it happen twice to my F150. First time at the home at the beach. I went out to go to town, turned the truck on and the dash lit up, Things like high decent, 4 w drive light ( my trucks not equip with either) but the seat belt warning light and the air bag warning light came on., Had no clue what happened. The truck did crank, so called the dealer and they had me check a few things and noted, if it drives bring it in and we will have you a loaner. Got down there, they pulled my truck into service and after 2 hrs, the service advisor came out and said come with me. IT looks like you have some new friends. Well the mice had somehow gotten into the cab and chewed through the wire in the door jam and killed the electronics under the center console, which is where the warning lights/circuity module is housed. They said pick it up tomorrow so we can look for how the mice got into the cab. Came back the next morning, the truck was ready and they found that I had had a service 4 months ago for a warranty AC evaporator which is under the dash/ firewall area.. The service tech appeared to not have secured the rubber grommets into the firewall good enough. A mice entry point. Charge ZERO $.Rodents chew on harnesses, it's what they do. A friend has a 1970 Challenger and critters chewed the harness- so much for being original....
Yeah, "rodent free"- I used to think that about mine, too. Then, I tried to use my two stage snow blower and by the time I reached the end of my driveway 110' from my garage, it wouldn't blow any snow out of the chute because the rotor wasn't spinning hard enough, so I turned around and put it in the garage, so I could clear the rest of the 10" deep snowfall with my little paddle-type blower. That was fun. Once I was done, I went inside and looked on YouTube for videos about repairing the two stage and found out about little critters nesting in the drive area. I opened it and it was absolutely packed with grass, pine needles, leaves and fur- I couldn't find any large gaps, only small ones.Crazy what animals and bugs can get into a vehicle. Fortunately I will be keeping it the garage and the garage is rodent free.
Once our 2 cats died(never had a rodent issue when they were alive) I poison the devil out of them. I store a Corvette at my brothers house for the winter, there are enough stray cats in the neighborhood that there has never been a problem in his garage. Regardless, I leave scented drier sheets a plenty throughout !That’s the story in my shed. Can’t store anything in it that would make a nice bed for field mice. So far so good with the garage. As Jinxy the cat in the cartoons used to say, I hate them mieces to pieces!
They don't care if you put the material in there, or not- they pick it up and carry it. I make sure to blow or vacuum all of the leaves, etc out of my garage in Fall and since a mouse can squeeze through a 1/4" gap, it doesn't matter how well I think it's closed off, they find ways to get in.That’s the story in my shed.
