I tried searching a few times and thought it'd be easier this way. Anyway, in my car back in the US, I have a ghetto-ized sub and amp system hooked up in the trunk. It consists of x2 8" Pioneer subs (300w each) and a Jensen 600w amp (4 channel, I think). I didn't have it made for me, I bought it cheap off of a classmate. The enclosure takes up an awkward area of the trunk and is just plain heavy in my trunk. I had a roommate wire it up for me and it's just a ghetto-riffic disaster.
So anyway, I was thinking about taking out the subs and amp from my car and replacing my blown PC speakers and sub. I'm also planning on getting a pair of so-so speakers for mid-range so I'm not constantly listening to bass. My question is how do I wire everything to my PC's sound card? From what I've read on other sites, I'd obviously need an AC/DC converter to power the amp, and where do I go from there? Do I have to do some kind of conversion for the RCA cables to fit into the sound card?
Thanks ahead of time, I'm not too savvy with electronics so be kind.
