Hi everyone,
I'm trying to use the sub input trigger with my old Yamaha AVR with no success.

These are the output I have (rxv1500):

None of them works. I tried the google and the owner's manual with no luck.

Anybody has a clue how to get it right?

Thanks,

Daniel

Check the Yammy manual again, you most likely need to configure the output to trigger properly.

If you are certain that the 12V output is triggering properly, then the next step is get your voltage meter and when it should be outputting 12V, see if it is really outputting 12V.

Very important!!! What type of cable are you using? Are you using a mono cable (called a TS cable)? Or a stereo cable (called a TRS cable)? Obviously, we can see this is a 3.5mm output, and you most likely need the TS cable.

Agreed, probably the cable if configured correctly.

Nice! Some of the wiring can be different even though the tip coding looks the same. If ever an issue arises with some thing else, you can just rewire the tips, if getting a new cable is inconvenient.

Seriously, I have no life.
The Remote In/Out will do nothing for this application.
