Can your sub take the intro from Live Die Repeat without farting

Thanks guys!

The few would probably mute vibrations, but not necessarily prevent them! Insulation strip should completely resolve!

My subs (dual Rythmik E15HP) did fine, but my room was farting all over the place. I was really impressed that the piano was vibrating against the wall the way it did. I'll have to use this track to eliminate vibrations in my home!

Ideas on what to put behind picture frames? My first thought is to buy a sheet of adhesive-backed felt. Is there something that would work better for those that have already crossed this bridge?
A hot glue gun , lol .
J/K of course.

Blu-tack should work for pictures.

I have a segmented glass fireplace door that vibrates like crazy with stuff like this.

I think my dual SVS NSD PC-12s handle it fine, although it's hard to tell over the sound of my house vibrating apart. SVS is pretty good about limiting the performance of their subs to prevent the nasty sounds... I haven't checked to see if the limiters are triggered. I'll have to try.

I played this loud with dual SUB-1200's they manage it without any audible issues! However, they definitely don't have the room shaking gravitas of Rythmik E15HP's.
I am really liking these $130 (shipped) subs! They don't win contests of extension or output, but they are tighter and more musical than many sealed subs (surprised me too).
They do nothing to muck up the music. What sins they commit are sins of omission, rather than sins of commission. To me, this is a huge find in an inexpensive sub!

My Danley DTS-10 handles it fine but one of my buttkickers rattles on the final tone.

How many buttkickers do you have?:)
Do you think one is defective, or do you run it hotter, or is it maybe not mounted securely?

I tried it this afternoon as I didn't remember it when I first watched. With dual LMS Ultras and the dual opposed with the UXL's, I'm surprised I didn't have people knocking on my door, since the in room sensation was chest rattling.

Hi All....Any impressions on Polk MicroPro 1000?...Well I do have mine...tight clean bass, but the SPL is way too low when I leave it at trim levels as suggested by Denon X4100. When tweaked, it is bottoming, hopefully the right term for it..my other choice in this country that I live in now was either BA or Yamaha...

Ya, you may need to double up on those to get any appreciable output, given that these 3 are your only options - unless you could build your own sub with locally sourced parts.

My towers can take the first 30 seconds of "Edge of Tomorrow" (my favorite movie of all times) with aplomb. :D

But the bass increases my systolic and diastolic blood pressure every time.

I have not seen this movie yet, should I bother with the 3D version? Can't wait to hear how my dual PSA XV15's handle this one!

Yep...thanks DJ...maybe I should be getting an external amp for my RTiA7's now...the woofers are hardly moving at the -35 db levels that I usually listen at...appartment constraints...but then again I am stuck with either ordering a Denon or yammy amp...I am not a fan of either...

I'm betting my Cap will be fine, but I am going out today to get this just to see :)

Sorry for the late response. I have the original buttkickers with 2 large transducers and the 1000w Buttkicker amp. I also thought it might be a mounting issue but it wasn't. It rattles inside the kicker and only in 1 of them. It only does it on that last tone in that movie and not any other movie or music source so I am not worried about it since I don't watch that movie everyday.

Sooooooooo....

Rented this today from Redbox. At -10 on my AVR, it literally shook my whole house. The kids loved it and made me play it over and over....

So the new home theater test for subs is apparently the audio played during the production logo trailer leading into Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow.

...and I read someone said it makes theirs fart too. Can your sub take it without farting?
Unfortunately, no. Perhaps I have some further settings on the back of my subs amp to tweak
that has not needed any tweaking prior to the LFE 35 seconds into the 1st chapter of this movie.

My issue was vertical driver clatter right at 35 seconds in, above -26.5db
-27db and lower was fine, and 2 dvd boxes on the sub ended up, on the floor.
I do remember adding 1 to 1.5db after Audyssey set my sub up.
Would that equate to the LFE issue actually now being say -25.5db?
Doesn't really matter, my Rythmik F15HP balked at it.
