Can you put a speaker on top of a Subwoofer?

I'm running out of room and was considering putting my Jamo C803 on top of my 300 Sub. I know its not the best solution - but maybe if I put down some padding between them?

Thoughts?

You sure can and something in between them would probably be good also. The question is, how high will this put the tweeter, as it is good to keep them at ear level when in your listening position (seated presumably).

Okay good... The tweeter will actually be exactly at ear level at this point, so it might work out just fine. My main concern was any rattle w/ the speaker due to the bass - or a larger concern, the bass could damage the speaker somehow...

Not really something you should concern yourself with, especially if you de-couple the speaker from the subwoofer with some kind of acoustic foam or other dampening material.
