Can you connect a powered mixer (Yamaha EMX68s) to a combo bass amp?

I currently use a Yamaha EMX68s powered mixer for vocals with 2 Yorkville NX20 speakers. I also use a Peavey TKO 115s bass amp for a keyboard.

Is it possible to include the keyboard in the EMX68s and use the Peavey as a sub? The powered mixer has MAIN Stereo outputs and a Monitor output. (The manual says you can connect a powered speaker to the Monitor output). The Peavey has a "Power Amp In" input, which I believes simply bypasses the Preamp. So, would the Peavey behave as a powered speaker if I use the "Power Amp In" input?

Yamaha EMX68s:
2x400W @ 4 Ohms
or 2x270W @ 8 Ohms

Yorkville NX20 Speakers:
350W @ 8 Ohms
12" / 1"

Peavey TKO 115s:
80W with built-in 15" speaker

Can this configuration work? Any help would be appreciated, since I don't quite understand all this... Thanks in advance

"Subwoofer" means 'below bass frequencies', which that bass amp won't do, can't do and was never designed to do. It's made to be used with a bass guitar which, if its lowest string is E, has a fundamental of 41.2Hz. It's unlikely that the bottom octave will be reproduced unless that was actually a design criterion. Also, you won't have any way to limit the bass amp's response to sub-60Hz frequencies. If you need a subwoofer, get an active crossover and do it right. You can get a Behringer EQ with a crossover for just over $100.

With the active crossover, are you saying that I could use the bass amp?

Let me take a step back...

I've been using the bass amp for my keyboard for years now. Its done the job. However, I'm upgrading my keyboard and I wouldn't mind upgrading my amp/speaker situation too. For vocals, the EMX68s and the Yorkville speakers have been great too.

I was just wondering if I can combine the two to get the best out of both worlds. ie. Keep the 15" sound for the keybaord and adding some depth for the vocals, while adding the brightness that the Yorkville speakers offer to my keayboard sound.

My other option is to buy a dedicated keyboard amp (~550$ for a 12" and a tweeter @ 120W). But I'm afraid to lose the 15".

I just figured with all the equipment I already use, there must be a smarter way of doing this.

OT: Highfigh, your advice on squirting machines is definitely top notch!

So, I just discovered that the Power Amp In input is for an effects return... I guess it wont work afterall.
