Alrighty, let's see if we can't get you up and running.
On your Panasonic, check out page 46 of the owner's manual (the PDF version is linked
here if you don't have it handy). You'll just want to go into the audio menu and turn off the TV speakers by setting the "TV speakers" option to "Off."
On your Phillips, press the "Source" button repeatedly until "Aux" is displayed on the front panel display (there might be a direct way to select that input, but that's what the
manual says to do on page 16).
Give that a try. If it doesn't work, let us know and I'll look deeper into the settings on the Phillips. Nothing stood out to me when I looked through the manual just now, but I might have missed something.
