Can I use Sub-passive speakers on rear Channel?

I have 2 pairs of speakers (Bose acustimas (little cubes) and Infinity SL Micro satellite, these speakers are coming from the factory with the Passive subwoofer. I bought these in the garage sale (Only speakers, Not subwoofer). I wish to use any pair on my rear channel. I have read the manuals of these models and they said. Cautiono not connect the satellites directly to your amplifier bypassing the passive subwoofer output terminals the satellites speakers must always be connected to the output terminlas on the subwoofer..
I tested Both on my set up and the sound is Nice but that "Caution" message from the Manual is worry me..Could I affect my receiver or speakers If I keep these connected..
The Impedance of speakers is Matching with the A/V receiver.

Bose cubes have a very limited range for playback. As a result they generally require the use of their subwoofer to supplement the rang normal speakers would have. Infinity may have the same restriction. For rears I suppose it's not a big deal. I just hope you didn't pay very much for either. There are much better small speakers out there that aren't very expensive. Still if it sounds fine to you I'd leave it. If you blow it's not a huge loss. Surrounds are easily replaced.

The reason why it has the warning is because the crossover for the tiny Bose cubes is in the sub module, not the speaker itself. That means, if you sent a full range signal to them, there is a good chance of damaging them. However, if you simply set your crossover as high as you can for those channels they should be OK.

I have One subwoofer passive (Pioneer Brand) in my garage since a long time..
Could I connect this with any of these speakers (acustimas Bose or Infinity SL Micro)..If the Impedance is matching?..The Crossover into the subwoofer shall be specific to the Brand name and specifications of speakers? or The Crossover is universal for any speaker..

The difference with the Bose bass module (if 5.1 or higher) is it has crossovers for each channel and they are tailored to those speakers. For pretty much all other subs, the crossover is fixed and will typically only feed 2 speakers, but it varies from sub to sub what that crossover point is so you will probably have to try it out and see how it sounds. The Bose cubes only extend down to around 200Hz, and most subs do not have a crossover that low, so you could have a gap in your frequency response (which is why they have the caution when not using the Bose bass module).
