I know it sounds stupid to ask this question as the lable on the wire says not for In-wall installation.
I am finishing my basement and I asked my contractor to use 12 AWG wire for my 7.1 hometheater system. He installed 12 guage wire bought from Lowes, but When I saw " Not for in-wall use" on the lable I questioned the contractor and he says he always uses that kind of wire. But I didn't agree with him. I asked him to buy a wire that is suitable for in-Wall install.
he went and bought Monster cable from best buy which is versy expensive. I would like to know if it is Okay to leave the cable I got? Please suggest. I need to decide by evening.
If you think I shouldn't use the wire marked not ofr in-wall install, please suggest me for what markings I need to look for on the label.
thanks
