Can I Use A New Preamp For My Older B&K

I have a reference B&K 7250 power amp ... I was looking to get a new AVR , but was hoping I could just mate a newer Preamp/Processor that has HDMI. The Amp has RCA inputs. Any recommendations? I just listen to two channel stereo , and 5.1 surround, which I’m happy with . I’m currently using a B&K 307 avr .. thanks

It is an amp. You can use any AVR that has preamp outputs or Pre/pro. In other words, yes.

Yes you can. You didn't mention a budget, but the Outlaw 975 may fit the bill. I have one, and it has some compromises, but the price is right.

Thanks for the fast replies ! My budget is $800 to $1,000 ... I need a 4k pass through , with 2.2 HDMI ... any recommendations? I prefer used . Thanks

The Outlaw doesn't support 4K. Good luck with the used route.
