i don't even use the test tones because i'm afraid of toasting my subs
please consider this:

you'll need an SPL meter, a PC in the room, some cables, that free software and some patience in learning it. :)
Thanks. I'll try to work through this when I get some free time.

I agree with both possibilities here... I will say that I have dual Plus/2's in my 8000 + cu ft room, which opens to everywhere and I find there is a lacking of impact in comparison to my 1700^3 bedroom with a single JL F112 in it...

I would suggest that your single Plus/2 in that huge room isn't enough, but the T shape might aid in negating the usual standing waves from a standard square or rectangle shaped room....

As big as the Plus/2 is and as much bass it puts out there are limits to how much space it can pressurize. 4 subs in that room would be great, and you may want to think about adding more. I will certainly be doing that for my gynormous room.
I don't know where I got my original numbers from, but I did a rough measurement, and it's only about 4000 cu ft (originally indicated it was closer to 7000).

Try adjusting the phase.
No difference.

Couldn't this be just the crossover too high?
Sub crossover is defeated. Pioneer Elite is set at 80 Hz.

Thanks everyone

Seriously, I have no life.
16 feet back, with sub in the corner.
.
At times, corner position may not be the best for you.
Experiment with other locations if you can and may want to get it closer to you?

I would move the sub but it's not really possible. The room is more form over function and the sub can only be in the current location, or moved to the other corner, still in front of the screen. It's an enclosed area (enclosed by mesh) so that the sub is not visible.

Well, in that case, you may have to use an EQ to cut some of the boomy bass if you experience any, and use a more powerful and capable sub to give you what you desire at the listening position, your seat:D

I have the same PB12/+2 set to 16Hz and I can feel the bass go right through me.
